Emma Finucane

Cyclist
Elite

Emma first began cycling at eight years old with her sister, through the Towy Riders in her home country of Wales. She has since become renowned in the world of cycling for her efforts, taking home all four women’s sprint titles at the 2023 National Track Championships.

She then became the first woman to win three medals for Team GB at a single Games in 60 years at Paris 2024, winning gold in the Women’s Team Sprint alongside Katy Marchant and Sophie Capewell in a new world record time, as well as bronze in both the Women’s Sprint and Women’s Keirin.

Emma is our newest addition to the Elite athlete team for 2025 and is looking forward to sharing her journey of getting to the top of her sport and talking about body positivity for women in sport in this year’s mentoring sessions.
